Pra você que não conhece iHeartRadio Music Awards, se trata de uma premiação criada recentemente. A edição inaugural foi realizada no dia 1 de maio de 2014, no Shrine Auditorium, em Los Angeles. A premiação show foi transmitida ao vivo pela NBC. Prêmios foram apresentados aos best-sellers artistas do mundo nas diversas categorias e para os artistas mais vendidos.
O evento consagrou os melhores artistas e canções que tocaram na rádio americana durante o ano de 2013.
Consagrada como Artista do Ano de 2013, Rihanna não levou apenas essa categoria, ganhou também os prêmios de "Canção do Ano"com (Stay (feat. Mikky Ekko) - Rihanna) e Melhor Canção de HipHop/R&B" com
E esse ano a premiação volta consagrando os melhores artistas de 2014 e nessa lista estão nomes como Sam Smith, Taylor Swift e Ariana Grande entre outros.
Ainda não foram divulgados os nomes dos artistas que irão se apresentar na premiação.
